Vivien Hibbert

Author, teacher and worship leader, Vivien Hibbert was born in New Zealand and began full time ministry in 1977 as a teacher of praise and worship. In 1985, Vivien immigrated to the U.S. and served in full-time pastoral and/or music ministry until 1997. Now residing near Sacramento, California, Vivien is a co-founder and president of “The Worship Arts Conservatory,” an online school designed to equip worship and art ministries to use their giftings in the area or worship. In conjunction with her responsibilities with the school, she ministers in churches, conferences, ladies retreats, and Bible Schools internationally and throughout the USA.
In 1997 Vivien was privileged to take part in the Promise Keepers Worship Summit where she was involved in developing a strategy for establishing worship internationally with the goal of unifying diverse cultures. She is a regular faculty member of the International Worship Symposium that offers worship conferences in the United States and numerous countries overseas. Vivien is also part of the staff of LaMar Boschman’s International Worship Institute held in Dallas, Texas, annually, and is pleased to have been included on the committee for Canada Arise/Vancouver ‘99 and ‘00.
Vivien has produced several music tapes over the years. Her newest project is called Shepherd’s Suite which is an inspirational instrumental meditation CD for worshipers. She has written a manual on praise and worship entitled Music Ministry (currently out of print). Vivien’s latest book, Prophetic Worship, was released in July of 1999 and continues to be an excellent and insightful resource for worship teaching and revelation.
