Jackson Senyonga
Pastor Jackson Senyonga is the founder and senior pastor of Christian Life Church in Kampala, Uganda. The church experienced exponential growth from 7 people at its inception in 1995 to 2,000 in two weeks. Within the first seven months that number grew to 7,000. Today, over 22,000 people attend Christian Life Church each week, and 40,000 are registered as members and that number continues to grow on a daily basis. Christian Life Church (CLC) has planted 600 churches in four countries in Africa. CLC operates several radio stations, a TV station, and a daily newspaper in order to share Christian programming across the nation.
Although he experienced abandonment as a baby, and his father was murdered by Idi Amin, the grace of God was poured out on Jackson in a special way. Jackson has witnessed the power of God’s transformation in his nation. He has been a catalyst for bringing leaders across the denominations together in cities across America as well as many other nations. His insights of the principles for transformation, prayer, and unity have been a valuable resource and have been adapted and applied in different cities. Today, there are close to 1.4 million orphans in Uganda due to HIV/AIDS and rebel conflicts, making it the largest source of orphans in the World. This ministry allows the global body of Christ to reach out to help this desperate situation through financial and prayer support for multiple projects.
