Brian Thomson
Brian serves as the Director of Wagner Leadership Institute (WLI), C. Peter Wagner’s training institute that is in 40 nations of the World. Connie works full time in the National Office of WLI, and travels lots with Brian. Brian and WLI Canada are starting and overseeing many other WLI’s in the world, including WLI Japan, WLI Chennai India, WLI Rwanda, WLI Kenya, and WLI Silk Road which includes 6 nations such as Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan.
For 16 years Brian and Connie were on staff with Word of Life Centre in Central Alberta as Youth Pastors, Associate Pastors and Bible College Directors. In 1993, Brian and Connie were released by the Holy Ghost and with full blessing of his senior Pastor. Brian has been traveling out from the Local Church as a Prophetic /Evangelist and has been privileged to minister to 100’s of Churches in more than 50 denominations and ministerial streams!
Brian has received his Doctorate of Practical Ministries from Wagner Leadership Institute, and Connie has completed her Masters.
He has written a book on Evangelism and Youth Ministry, called “How to Reach the Lost Generation,†published by Destiny Image.
Since September 1993, Brian has traveled extensively and ministers in Evangelism rallies, conducts miracle crusades, and prophetic meetings across Canada, USA and has made many mission trips to countries like India, Kenya, Uganda, Kazakhstan, England, Philippines, Japan, China and Mexico. He is also starting an orphanage in Rwanda called “Home of Hope.â€
With a unique comedy approach, he stirs people of all ages to do something great for God. He loves to motivate and encourage people to stir up the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and loves to train in the “How to’s” of Christian Ministry. God gave Brian a unique strategy in praying for the sick and he teaches this “L” prayer model in training times before Healing meetings. God uses Brian and the people of all ages he trains up to see mighty miracles such as: blind eyes healed, deaf ears, crippled legs, cancer, asthma, arthritis, and many others sicknesses healed. In countless services, everyone with pain receives an instant miracle from the Lord.
Brian serves as a Prophet to the Word of Life Church and Ministries in Canada and is a member of the Prophetic Round Table of Canada, and Alberta Prophets Round Table.
He lives in Red Deer and has been married to Connie for 27 years, and has 4 children that are all on fire for the Lord and involved in the local Church.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
In the course Brian emphasizes that “ALL GIFTS†are available to “ALL Christians.†The gift of prophecy is not for an elite few, but all of us can use prophecy to edify and build up our fellow Christians. Brian uses humor, multi-media and hands on methods in teaching to help each student to grow in their ability to hear God for themselves and others. He will be teaching on 7 key tips on how we can activate the gift of Prophecy. He will also cover the 12 Biblical Functions of a Prophet and give 20 Action steps to use when we hear from God and move in the Prophetic.
