WLI Code of Conduct
Wagner Leadership Institute upholds biblical standards of ethics and morality in every area of life. Enrollment in, employment by, or voluntary service to WLI includes a commitment by each individual to adhere to Godly standards of conduct and lifestyle. While this applies to all areas of thought and life, it should be explicitly understood that WLI believes that heterosexual union must be reserved for marriage and insists on sexual abstinence for the unmarried. WLI holds that premarital and homosexual relationships are inconsistent with the teaching of Scripture and will not be tolerated in the WLI community.
Warning/Disclosure
Because of the non-academic nature of WLI, there should be no expectation that “training units†(they are not “academic creditsâ€) will be recognized for transfer or for any sort of academic standing in traditional academic institutions. Since WLI has chosen to adopt an educational paradigm so different from traditional seminaries and Bible schools, some may not be comfortable with its position. This could mean that in certain ecclesiastical circles, diplomas from WLI may not be recognized as legitimate credentialing for ministry. Before enrolling in WLI, check with your ordaining body to be sure that your diploma will be accepted.
